When used along side of the phonics book Word Masteryby Florence Akin, your little one can learn cursive at the same time they learn their phonics. The order of the cursive letters are taught in the same order of Word Mastery, where your child will learn to read (and write) their first word in the first few pages. Although this primer was intended to pair with Word Mastery, it is not a requirement, and the primer can be used as a stand alone book or used in addition to other reading programs.
